Transmission has an experienced project team that can
provide you with technical assistance and system training in
bearing, power transmission, lubrication, material handling
and conveying components. Mechanical drive review for
optimal performance, as well as product rationalization and
standardization to minimize on-site inventory requirements
are just a few of the services Bearing & Transmission’s
project group can provide.
Bearing & Transmission has tremendous experience
working with capital projects in a variety of industries.
This experience includes projects working in mining,
sawmill, pulp & paper, panel board, steel, oil & gas,
construction, utilities, bio fuel, and alternative energy.
Along with capital / construction projects, our project
group is also experienced in maintenance repair operations
(MRO) projects. Our project group has the ability to supply
the required products and services to MRO projects. In
addition, this group can:
- Participate in efficiency and
reliability improvement projects
- Review and supply mechanical mill
components according to mill standards
- Minimize new mechanical spare parts requirements
- Deliver cost savings based on standardization, technical
support and product rationalization

Documented Value Added® (DVA) cost savings for all projects.
We offer a project expediting service to ensure deadlines
are met and deliver detailed mechanical equipment survey
information for upload into Customer Maintenance Managements
System (CMMS). We also offer regular project updates to all
stakeholders, detail the financial impact of implementing
standardization programs, and offer detailed spare parts
recommendations.
